The Patient Assurance Program was expanded to include cardiovascular drugs starting January 1, 2023. This enhancement is part of our continued commitment to provide affordable medications to members.
This program helps reduce escalating costs of diabetic and cardiovascular therapy. Members benefit directly from the program, which is effective immediately at point of sale and ensures the member pays no more than $25 per 30 days for eligible Tier 2 diabetic and cardiovascular drugs.
