The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) has finalized the 2027 rate adjustments for:
- Small Group Medical
- Individual
- Large Group HMO
- Medicare Supplement
Annual Rate Notices (ARNs) reflecting the approved rates for these products will be mailed to enrolled groups and individuals by the end of October.
ARNs for Medicare Advantage, Simply Prescription, Small Group Standalone Vision, Individual Standalone Dental, and Small Group Dental products will be mailed by the end of November.
New for 2027: For commercial Small Group Medical and Small Group Medicare Supplement business, Monthly Rate Summary Reports for January 2027 renewals will be available through the enhanced broker portal in late October.
Monthly Rate Summary Reports for Small Group Dental, Small Group Standalone Vision, Small Group Medicare Advantage, and Small Group Simply Prescription products will be available through the enhanced broker portal in late November.
As in previous years, brokers supporting Individual, Large Group HMO, and Large Group Medicare Supplement business can access Monthly Rate Summary Reports for January 2027 renewals through Information Connection in late October. Monthly Rate Summary Reports for Large Group Medicare Advantage and Large Group Simply Prescription business will be available through Information Connection in late November.
