As of June 1, 2024, individuals will need a qualifying event/special election period (SEP), or must wait until November, to enroll or make changes to their health insurance.
As a reminder, during the COVID public health emergency, New York State had continuous open enrollment periods allowing individuals to enroll in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) monthly, when needed.
